NOTTS AGENCY LOOKS OVER THE RAINBOW WITH CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO LOCAL CHILDREN’S HOSPICE

RAINBOWS Hospice provides children with life-limiting illnesses – and their families – support, respite and care and, inspired by the work it does, FHP Living has donated more than 50 toys, games and items of clothing to the East Midlands’ only children’s hospice.

Carol O’Grady, office manager at FHP Living’s Weekday Cross office said: “We’ve been fundraising for Rainbows throughout the Christmas period and wanted to finish 2017 on a high, donating all we could to the incredible charity which does really fantastic work in our region.

“A couple of our generous contractors have also made substantial donations so I’d like to also personally thank everyone for all their support in helping to improve the lives of these incredibly brave children and their families.”

Rainbows opened its doors in 1994, acting as a place for life-limited children and their families to be cared for, providing invaluable support to those who need it most.

“The hospice really is a haven for families who are forced to endure the most difficult of circumstances and, as it only receives 15% of its funding from the government and relies mainly on donations, we knew we had to help.

“We’re proud to support local charities and have been fundraising throughout the year for a variety of different causes – as well as sponsoring sports teams which work with young people in Nottingham,” added Carol.

FHP Living has three Nottingham offices, located in West Bridgford and the city centre, and is one of the city’s most active agencies, with specialist teams covering the Park, Mapperley Park, the city centre, Bramcote, Wollaton, Beeston, West Bridgford - and beyond.
