Hallam Internet Beats High Profile Brands at UK Digital Experience Awards 2017

Nottingham-based Hallam Internet has won a silver award for Best Online User Experience B2C the at the UK Digital Awards 2017, held late November at Wembley Stadium in London, trumping Virgin Money, Lloyds Banking Group and Eurostar in its category.

The UK Digital Experience Awards are one of the most sought-after accolades in the digital industry, created to celebrate the delivery of exceptional customer service. The awards scoring methodology and criteria are endorsed by Cranfield School of Management, a world leader in management education and research.

Hallam Internet was recognised for its approach in producing a sleek user experience and a highly automated website, that helped their client Virtual Runner, increase their revenue by 300% in just over one year.

Virtual Runner founders, Susan and Paul Wheatcroft, worked on the business in their spare time and created a relatively simple website using an online site builder. The business quickly grew and it became too time consuming for the couple to manage the manual work associated with such a simple site.

Hallam built a new website that increased conversions, automated administrative tasks and helped grow the business further. The Hallam web team created a unique concept, which required a completely bespoke approach.

The winners of the awards were selected by a panel of independent judges made up of digital experts from across the UK.
