LINCOLN ARCHITECTS EXTEND TEAM WITH NEW HIRE

GROWING architecture firm, LK2 Architects Ltd, has continued with its ambitious growth plans with the addition of a new Part II architect.

Tom Proverbs, a University of Lincoln graduate, joins the team having worked as a freelance architectural designer, working on projects including the renovation of a community hall in Repton.

Speaking of his new role, Tom said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at LK2 and look forward to getting stuck in to some really exciting projects.

“LK2 is a very ambitious business, so I felt that it was the right place for me to build on my experience and hopefully work towards my Part III qualification.”

Tom also spent a year’s placement at an architectural practice in the West Midlands, where he worked across a range of housing and healthcare projects before completing a Masters in Architecture.

LK2 is a unique company of chartered architects and sports and leisure business advisors. It specialises in using sport and leisure as a vehicle to blend together a range of sectors including mixed use developments, residential, retail and urban regeneration schemes.

Andrew Kitchen, director at LK2 said: “We’re delighted to welcome Tom to our growing team. He blew us away with his enthusiasm and initiative, and we’re confident he’ll be a fantastic asset to the team.

“LK2 continues to grow and we’re taking on some really exciting projects, making this the perfect time for him to join us.”
