COCKLIFFE COUNTRY HOUSE TO HOST EXCLUSIVE GLOBAL WEDDING DRESS LAUNCH

Nottinghamshire-based Cockliffe Country House Hotel has announced a partnership with leading local wedding suppliers to host the launch of revered international wedding dress designer Caroline Castigliano in the area.

Working alongside local businesses, Iconic Bride Bridal Boutique and Mirror Imaging Photography, the 17th century former farmhouse in Burntstump Country Park will provide the venue for the launch of an exclusive new range of dresses for brides-to-be and their friends and family.

The event will take place on Sunday 5th November between 11:30 and 14:30, and will include a free glass of prosecco and canapés on arrival. Every bride-to-be who registers at the event will also be entered into a prize draw - including the chance to win a hen-do retreat for 20 guests worth £1,400 at Horspool Luxury Retreat & Spa in Southwell - and will centre around a catwalk show featuring the breath-taking new lines.

The announcement follows the news of the £750,000 refurbishment programme at the hotel, which has seen the creation of a new stone built state of the art banqueting suite, ideal for weddings. The final elements of the refurbishment are planned to be completed by the end of 2017.

“To be chosen to be part of this event for such an iconic name in the wedding business is testament to our facilities and how far we’ve come as a business in recent years,” explained Jon-Paul Davies, director of independent hotel group Heritage Estates, which owns Cockliffe Country House Hotel.

“The event promises to be a great occasion for everyone – there’s no stands or sales pitches, it’s just a great opportunity for people to experience all things ‘wedding’ and meet with talented and knowledgeable professionals face-to-face. We’re really looking forward to welcoming people through the doors and hearing the feedback on our forthcoming new wedding space.”

Jon-Paul added:

“It’s also great news for the region that businesses can come together and put on an event of this magnitude. We each have our own specific expertise in the wedding sector, and it makes perfect sense to bring all of this under one roof to offer something truly unique to prospective customers.”
