Purpose Media staff get spooky for charity

Full-service marketing agency Purpose Media marked this year’s Halloween in spook-tacular style by holding a staff fancy dress day to raise money in support of Rape Crisis England and Wales.

Staff at the South Normanton-based firm flexed their creative muscles to come up with the most imaginative costumes. They helped to raise more than £100 on the day, which will be given to Account Director Jamie Bourn’s sister, Courtney, who is doing a skydive in December for the charity.

Rape Crisis England and Wales is a national charity and the umbrella body for our network of independent member Rape Crisis centres across the UK.

The organisation also helps to promote the needs and rights of women and girls who have experienced sexual violence, to improve services to them and to work towards the elimination of sexual violence.

Purpose Media staff voted for their favourite costume on the day and the winner, designer Ollie Henderson, who dressed as his design team colleague Alan Allpress, won a bottle of prosecco.

Jamie said: “It was great to have a bit of spooky fun in the office this Halloween and I’m really grateful to all my colleagues here for not only making an effort by taking part, but also by digging deep to donate towards my sister’s forthcoming skydive for Rape Crisis England and Wales.”

Marketing Services Director Katrina Starkie, who organised the event, added: “The charity is a fantastic organisation which does vital work in supporting the victims of sexual violence and helping so many women and girls through some of the hardest times of their lives, so it’s one we are delighted to support.”
