FROM SCISSORS AND SUDS TO SHOWHOMES AND SALES

A sales adviser from Miller Homes Midlands has landed her dream job and dream home - all in under six months.

Hope Insall purchased her first home with the housebuilder in June 2015, and was so impressed with the buying experience; she made the decision to join the sales team herself.

After an intensive training period starting in December 2015, the former hair and beauty specialist qualified as a sales adviser just a year later, and is now based at Miller Homes Midland’s Cathedral View development in Lichfield.

Hope explained:

“In finding my dream home, I also landed my dream job. I knew I was ready for a career change, but I didn’t think buying a house would be my inspiration. After we’d settled down in our new home, things just seemed to fall into place.

“As soon as I saw the two-bedroom Rydal property at the Mounts Chase development in Shirley, I knew it was for me. It had everything – a nice street, a great interior, and spacious rooms. I could really picture living there, even in those early stages.

“It was a case of signing on the dotted line; simple, comfortable and done at my own pace. The reassurance from the Miller Homes Midlands team was second to none, giving us constant updates every step of the journey.”

Believing she could also provide the same level of care and commitment to other families, Hope soon enquired about joining the Miller Homes sales team.

“I saw the whole process from the other side and witnessed how attentive and supportive the staff were. They really went the extra mile to make the experience memorable and as easy as possible. Each time I visited, I left the sales office imagining how working for a company that prides itself on its relationship with customers would be so fulfilling.”

After completing a 12-month training period, Hope was soon ready to take on the role in a full-time capacity:

“Learning the ropes of the job and gaining knowledge and insight through the Miller Homes training programme has been key in my career development. I’m now really enjoying my new role at Cathedral View and I’m looking forward helping people find their ideal home too.”
