NOTTS ACCOUNTANTS BREW UP SUPPORT FOR MENTAL HEALTH FOUNDATION

NOTTINGHAM-based accountancy firm UHY Hacker Young enjoyed a ‘Tea & Talk’ event this month (23 October) – raising awareness and £262 for The Mental Health Foundation (MHF).

UHY Hacker Young recently chose MHF as its national charity for 2017/18 and funds are being raised across its 22 offices. The MHF delivers programmes, training and guidance which help to prevent mental health problems and support good mental health, the charity works to influence policymakers and advocate for change.

Tea & Talk is MHF’s national fundraising campaign, in conjunction with World Mental Health Day, and UHY’s event focussed on cake, coffee, friendly conversation and a sweepstake for the charity.

James Simmonds, partner at UHY Hacker Young, said: “We really enjoyed our Tea & Talk event and were delighted to see so many of our team take part. We had some great bakers bring in cakes, and we kept the kettle on to help raise awareness of mental health and the fantastic work MHF.”
