Leading franchise company heads to the NEC to launch UK expansion

A leading franchise company is heading to the National Franchise Exhibition, in the hope to find passionate entrepreneurs to help them expand across the country.

Clothes Aid, which has recently gained accreditation by the British Franchise Association, will attend the two-day exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham, on October 13th and 14th.

With over 20 years of experience within the franchise sector, Clothes Aid is the UK’s largest fully licensed, commercial clothes collection company. Working alongside various national and regional charities, including the Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital, it is looking for business-minded individuals to become franchisees, so it can support even more charities throughout the country and beyond.

This new opportunity, will create fantastic potential for anyone seeking to change their future, and reap the rewards of self-employment, while working to a viable and ethical business franchise model.

Steve Jenkinson, Franchise Manager at Clothes Aid, said: “We’re very excited to exhibit at the National Franchise Exhibition, as an accredited franchise company.

“Our friendly team will be on hand at stand H130 to raise awareness of our franchise opportunity, which offers entrepreneurs the chance to build their own business, backed all the way with full training, and the help and support of an experienced and substantial organisation.”

Collectively, Clothes Aid has raised more than £10 million for UK charities to date, including NSPCC, Macmillan Cancer Support and Make-A-Wish UK, through fully licenced door to door collections, in strict adherence to fundraising regulations. The organisation also works closely with the Waste and Recycling Action Programme (WRAP), and is committed to reducing the 350,000 tonnes of clothes that are sent to UK landfill every year.

Michael Lomotey, Clothes Aid’s business manager, said “To become a franchisee, you just need to be fit and healthy and happy to work outdoors. This opportunity will give you financial security and independence, while helping to support some of the country’s leading charities.”
