USB2U Celebrates 15 years of Operations

On 2nd October 2017, USB2U, a global supplier of promotional technology, celebrated its 15 year anniversary with numerous events held at its Northampton HQ including a buffet meal and roller skating party for its staff!

“This is a monumental achievement both in terms of what the company has achieved as well as for the staff who continue to provide a higher quality service to our clients each and every day,” says Sebastian La Porta Managing Director at USB2U. "The growth and reputation of our brand is something we’re very passionate about and the fact that we have been able to build strong, lasting relationships with our customers over the 15 years has helped us reach the position we are in now.”

Established all the way back in 2002 and originally operating out of a small garage, USB2U quickly grew from its capitalisation on a growing market for USB memory sticks, eventually moving to bigger premises to keep up with growing demand. From 2005 the company re-established itself by moving away from just selling USBs to offering them as a unique promotional product to B2B customers, and the rest as they say is history.

As of today, the company now sells more than 1.5 million printed, engraved and customised products every year to a variety of clients in various industries across the globe.

The company’s product portfolio has continued to expand year on year as well to now include a wide range of promotional tech including Power Banks, Speakers, Headphones and Car Accessories to name a few, all of which can be branded with a client’s logo or marketing message. Many are exclusive to USB2U in the UK.

Moving forward the organisation wants to solidify its position in the marketplace as the business of choice for all things branded tech with a focus on continued product innovation and high level of customer service and retention. Natalie Sharpe, Head Of Sales and Marketing at USB2U, adds: ‘the climate for tech based products is ever changing and we constantly have to adapt to what the market is telling us, to develop new ideas and to ultimately keep our products relevant to our clients.”

Mr La Porta feels that while the industry for promotional products continues to grow and evolve, the future of USB2U remains a bright one,

“Like other operators within the sector, many of us have had to adapt our offerings to suit where the market is heading, and unlike 15 or so years ago it’s not quite as predictable as it once was, but saying this I have absolutely no doubt that USB2U will continue to thrive in this environment and continue to grow and develop its portfolio of promotional tech over the next decade and beyond!”
