The Bardon-based developer took part in the popular event for the second year running and was delighted to support the event's chosen charity, Living Without Abuse (LWA).

Their team was made up of six colleagues, including Abby Pearson, Annabel Dargie, Megan Barber, Ian Bentley, Bethany Thorne and Hayley Seditas.

This was the second time the popular event has come to Coalville and saw hundreds of people splashed with different coloured paints as they ran through the 'colour stations'.

The race kicked off at 10.30am on Sunday 17th September and started in the town centre, at Needhams Walk car park and finished at Coalville Park.

The runners were then met with live music, stalls and food and drink to celebrate their achievement.

John Reddington, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes East Midlands, said:

"We were delighted to have a team from David Wilson Homes take part in the colour run for the second year.

"We were thrilled to be able to show our support for the event's chosen charity Living Without Abuse, which does such a fantastic job of supporting those who have been or fear they will be abused.

"Our team thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the run this year and it was great to see everyone get splattered with paint, all whilst doing something worthwhile and raising money for charity."

People of all ages were seen taking part in the event whether they ran, jogged or walked around the 5km route.

David Wilson Homes has homes available at its sought-after Coalville developments which include Abbots View on Albert Hall Place and Stenson's Quarter on Bardon Road.
