Pendragon PLC makes environmental impact with digital efficiencies

Pendragon PLC, the UK’s leading automotive online retailer, has rolled out a new process to create a better online system for new and existing team members whilst helping the environment.

In 2015, the company successfully implemented a new HR solution and have since complimented this with improved online functionality. The overall aim is to move all HR forms onto an online platform and reduce the reliance on paper processes, thus helping the planet.

Effective of 1 September 2017, team members who join the company will receive their welcome packs in a digital format. This will eradicate a huge amount of paper and associated cost whilst giving new team members an online experience which is much more streamlined and engaging.

In addition, and for existing Team Members, contract information and any changes to terms and conditions will be accessible on an internal online platform and email notifications sent to their preferred email address. This ensures a swift and secure approach, allowing team members to always have online access to their documents for the length of their employment.
