Call for Students to Nominate Nottingham's Best Teachers

NOTTINGHAM shopping centre intu Victoria Centre is calling for students and parents to nominate outstanding teachers from schools across the city for an end-of-term treat.

Whether it is for a teacher that has shown extra care and attention throughout the school year, organised a stand-out event or consistently gone the extra mile, students and parents are being invited to submit their entries to ‘Thank You Teacher’ through the intu Victoria Centre Facebook page.

The chosen winner will receive a £100 intu Gift Card, which can be spent at all of intu’s UK centres - including Nottingham’s intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh - across hundreds of brands and restaurants. They will also win prosecco for two at Cafe Rizzoli on arrival and an Elemis Spa Pod Power Booster facial at John Lewis.

Nigel Wheatley, general manager for intu in Nottingham, said “When it comes to saying thank you, we think teachers deserve something really special to recognise all of their hard work throughout the school year. That's why this year we're giving Nottingham students the chance to nominate a teacher that they know has gone the extra mile and made a real difference to win an exclusive prize bundle at intu Victoria Centre.

We know that the city is full of incredible educators and we can’t wait to read the stories that have made students want to say ‘thank you teacher’.”

Entries can be made on the intu Victoria Centre Facebook page by leaving a comment explaining why the nominee deserves to win the gift hamper. The competition is open from Friday 30 June to Friday 14 July, with the winner to be announced on Monday 17 July.
