Solutions makes Panthers power play by extending sponsorship deal

Financial and business management software provider Solutions for Accounting and CRM has extended its support of the Nottingham Panthers by signing a new two-year sponsorship deal.

 

 

The Nottingham-based firm, which also has an office in Derby, has been a sponsor of the Elite Ice Hockey League club for the past 16 years and its latest deal will continue that support until the end of the 2018/19 season.

The new deal will see Solutions sponsor Panthers’ home penalty box for the next two seasons. Separately, it is also sponsoring the club’s talismanic captain and player-coach, David Clarke.

Solutions is a long-standing supporter of Nottingham Panthers and is also a sponsor of the Nottingham Lions, a development team which gives young players the coaching and support they need to progress to the elite level of the sport.

Iain Barker, managing director of Solutions for Accounting and CRM, said: “As a local company with strong roots in the community, we are passionate supporters of all our local sports teams, so are delighted to be able to extend our support of the Panthers for another two seasons.

“They had a great season last term, becoming the first British ice hockey club to win a major European tournament, the Continental Cup, and the foundations are there for more success this year and next, which we are looking forward to being a part of. 

“In Nottingham, we have a proud ice hockey heritage, along with amazing facilities that other cities can only dream of and it’s important that we don’t take them for granted.”

“They’re the Midlands’ leading Sage and Swiftpage business partner and as the best ice hockey team in the Midlands, we like to be associated with the best partners.

“Working with them for going on 18 years has been a delight.”
