Specialist Commercial Litigation Solicitor joins Fishers Dewes

Midlands law firm Fishers Dewes is continuing to expand with the appointment of Ruth Jewell, a litigation specialist solicitor, to the Commercial team.

 

 

Ruth has considerable experience advising on contentious matters including civil and commercial disputes.

Ruth is based at the firms Ashby de la Zouch office having previously worked at a city centre firm in  Nottingham.

She said: “I am excited to be joining a firm with such an outstanding reputation and strong client base. Ashby and the surrounding area has a strong business community and I’m looking forward to assisting them with their commercial disputes.”

Ruth’s experience means she is able to combine a solid corporate knowledge with practical and pragmatic advice. She has advised numerous business owners and executives on a range of matters including partnership disagreements, contract disputes and debt collection.

Ruth studied Law at Sheffield Hallam University before completing her LPC at Sheffield University, where she received a Distinction in Litigation. She is also able to advise on landlord and tenant disputes, will and estate challenges, and property disputes.
