Builders at Lincolnshire Development Manor Farm Recognised For Excellence

Five star housebuilder Barratt Homes is celebrating the success of its construction team in Lincolnshire at the popular development Manor Farm in North Hykeham, following the launch of the sixth phase of homes.

Hard working staff at the sought after site are being praised for their work on the development, which once completed will have provided nearly 1,000 much needed homes to the area.

Construction began in 2006 and for more than 10 years the team of professionals have been working hard to deliver quality built homes whilst creating a growing community in the process.

Not only have the homes been recognised locally by homebuyers, but in total, the development and the staff working at Manor Farm have won 16 industry NHBC Awards. These include nine Pride in the Job awards, six Seal of Excellence awards and one Regional award.

The site recently started selling homes at its final phase, Manor Farm Phase 6, and once completed the entire scheme will have provided 946 new homes to North Hykeham.

Along with the new homes, the development also has an onsite primary school, which has attracted growing families and a new food store which the growing community at the development can benefit from.

“The development has been very popular with a range of different buyers since we first started selling the homes and it’s great to see the team receiving such great feedback for all of their hard work.”

Kevin, who has worked as the Senior Site Manager at Manor Farm for more than three years, and has won Site Manager of the Year within the business for the last two consecutive years, with his team winning a ‘Team Excellence’ award in 2015.

The busy development can have up to 90 staff members and contractors working on site at once.

Kevin added: “In all the years I have been in site management I have never worked with a better team as the Manor Farm team, not forgetting the engineers architects, sales, buying department and the quantity surveyors.

“Working with the same team again on the new phase is fantastic because we are a very well-oiled machine with a proven track record to deliver a quality product.”
