Local Nursery Children Reach For the Stars with Miller Homes

Talented youngsters from Busy Bees nursery in Telford have been testing out their artistic skills in a Miller Homes Midlands competition.

The creative children have been sticking, colouring and glittering their own individual star-shaped designs, showcasing their creative flair.

The best decorated design, awarded to three-year-old Emelia Geater, took home a £50 Toys R Us voucher, while a further £50 voucher was also donated to the nursery.

Alastair Parsons, sales director for Miller Homes Midlands, said:

“We’re always looking at ways in which we can build strong links within the community, and competitions such as this one allow us to give a little bit back after receiving such a warm welcome to the area since launching our Sutherlands development.

“We had some great entries for the competition, and we thank all the children for their brilliant efforts!”

The Sutherlands development in Telford presents Shropshire househunters with the opportunity to secure a dream new home in the area, with purchase incentives available on a range of homes.

Stephanie Mothershaw, manager of Busy Bees, said the children really enjoyed taking part in the competition. She added:

“Our children love creative activities so this was the perfect competition for them. It was fantastic to see so many different designs and we’ll certainly be putting the voucher to good use.”
