Eden Appointed To Lead On Dino-Mite National Campaign

The world-exclusive Dinosaurs of China exhibition has appointed Nottingham-based agency, Eden Public Relations to lead on its national PR campaign.

Taking place from 1st July to 29th October, Dinosaurs of China is an exciting exhibition coming to Nottingham’s Natural History Museum at Wollaton Hall and the University of Nottingham’s public arts centre, Nottingham Lakeside Arts. Featuring some of the largest and best preserved dinosaur skeletons and fossils, this will be the first and only time that dinosaur enthusiasts will be able to see the exhibition outside of Asia. Over 350,000 visitors are expected over the 4-month period.

Working closely with Nottingham City Council and the University of Nottingham, Eden Public Relations will be responsible for managing the communications strategy and raising the profile of the exhibition on a national scale.

This latest account win follows a successful few months for Eden Public Relations. Based in the Lace Market, the team has enjoyed significant growth with a number of account wins and the recent appointments of Emily Winsor as PR Consultant and Rebecca Ross as Senior Account Executive.

Isabel Jones, Joint Managing Director at Eden Public Relations said; “This is such a significant and prestigious event for Nottingham that we are thrilled to be part of the team delivering Dinosaurs of China. The University of Nottingham and City Council’s links with China have been instrumental in securing this unique event and it will serve to turn the national and international spotlight on to Nottingham and really showcase what the city can offer as a visitor destination.

“Eden has significant experience in delivering extensive PR campaigns at this level and we are delighted to employ our existing media relationships to promote this extraordinary exhibition and Nottingham as the host location.”

Cllr Dave Trimble, Nottingham City Council’s Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture said: “The partners from the Dinosaurs of China organising group chose Eden because they demonstrated great skills and expertise, with a wonderful track record. However, what also shone through and set them aside from other companies was the massive enthusiasm they had for the project and how much potential they could see in this world exclusive event coming to the city. We are very proud to work with this local company and I know their skills will ensure the exhibition makes a real national impact.”
