Just 10 Homes Left for Sale in Phase One of Trent Basin

After a bumper month (Feb) of sales and reservations of homes at Nottingham’s new waterside neighbourhood, there are now just 10 plots left in Phase One at Trent Basin.

Located on the banks of the River Trent and developed around an historic inland dock just minutes away from West Bridgford, more than 75 per cent of the plots in the first phase of the new neighbourhood have been snapped up by buyers who were attracted by the green-energy credentials and stunning views on offer. There are now just 10 homes remaining out of a total of 45 homes in Phase One.

Agents FHP Living and Royston & Lund are advising potential purchasers to book a viewing soon to avoid missing out on their dream river-view home. There are currently only five 4-bedroom homes, two 3-bedroom homes and three 2-bedroom apartments left to reserve in Phase One.

Steve Parker, Associate Director at FHP Living, said: “We have seen a large amount of interest this year from people wanting to invest in Trent Basin and its excellent property credentials. One of the largest properties in Phase One has now been reserved resulting in there only being two plots of this kind left to buy. Many people have also shown a strong interest in our waterside apartments and we are expecting them to be snapped up very soon.”

Trent Basin is appealing to those who want to live in a low carbon and low energy environment. Regeneration specialists Blueprint’s ethos of sustainability and low-energy is the driving force behind the scheme’s green agenda and forward-thinking technology and communities.

Head of Blueprint, Nick Ebbs, said: “We are thrilled to see so many people attracted to the Trent Basin lifestyle, having seen a steady increase in interest since last summer when the first of our homes were released for sale.

“Our dedicated approach to promoting health, wellbeing and vitality at Trent Basin has ensured that homebuyers are benefitting from a new type of neighbourhood which provides waterside living, blue skies and green spaces close to the city - but not in it.

“A number of recent reservations were a result of our show apartment open event at the end of January, which saw potential buyers come along for tours of the various properties and learn more about Trent Basin’s low-energy and sustainable benefits.

“We were also able to share plans for the introduction of innovative technology at Trent Basin including a community energy scheme which will help residents to save money on their utility bills. Residents are already benefitting from a car scheme in partnership with Enterprise Cars which actively encourages responsible car use and as a result, people are now keen to purchase houses in phase one as they see being part of Trent Basin as a long-term investment in the type of life they want to live.”

Work on site for Phase Two of Trent Basin is expected to start later this year, with Blueprint already taking expressions of interest in the next stage of the community from potential buyers.
