CSY’S New Office Makes an Impact Thanks to 360Degrees

Office refurbishment consultancy 360Degrees has created a tailored workplace for retail EPOS specialist CSY Retail Systems, as the company moves to new premises in Nottingham ahead of planned future growth.

“We’re picking up business from some big names in retail. As well as the extra demand that puts on capacity, it’s also made us focus on the importance of setting the right impression for customers when they visit us for meetings or training,” says Ross Pierrepont, Managing Director of CSY Retail Systems.

“When two adjoining units became available down the road from our existing location in Nottingham, we decided to grab both and knock them through into a single dedicated workspace. Then it was a matter of getting expert help to transform the building so it met our needs.

“We liked the approach of 360Degrees. They listened to our requirements and developed some dynamic plans that made the most of our new space. They also had strong, creative ideas for paint, carpets and furniture so that everything is well integrated.”

With two units knocked through, CSY now has a multi-purpose premises that is ideally suited for the needs of customers and the team.

360Degrees has designed a dedicated space for visiting customers. This includes a reception, meeting and training rooms, and a kitchen area for serving refreshments.

The refurbishment has been designed to support productivity. “360Degrees has given us a technical store and workshop that’s much bigger than what we had before, with easy access to spare parts and large work surfaces with plenty of power points.”

Staff well-being is another crucial element. The open plan office design for CSY’s development, sales and helpdesk teams lets in plenty of sunlight. The finishing touch is a staff room, kitted out with a kitchen and a pool table for downtime. “Our helpdesk is open 8am-8pm, seven days a week, so it was really important that this feels like a home-from-home to our team.

“We’re really happy with what 360Degrees has done for us. It’s functional, fun and modern, it’s an inspiring place to work and and it sets the perfect tone for our customers.”
