Success for Rilmac Scaffolding at Prestigious Services Support Project

Rilmac are proud to be working alongside other contractors on the important DNRC project at Stanford-on-Sour near Loughborough. In what is one of Rilmac’s largest ever scaffolding contracts, the Rilmac Scaffolding division are on site with Interserve during the development and construction stage of this important services medical facility.

The Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre will make a huge difference to those brave service men and women who have suffered great injury on duty.  Designed to provide a full range of rehabilitation the centre offers more than physiotherapy.  NHS England, the Department of Health (DH) and the British Society for Rehabilitation Medicine (BSRM) use the following definition:

‘Rehabilitation is a process of assessment, treatment and management by which the individual (and their family and carers) are supported to achieve their maximum potential for physical, cognitive, social and psychological function, participation in society and quality of living.’

Rilmac are delighted to be providing the scaffolding services for this vital project, and were just a little more excited when they made it to the top of the contractors chart on site for September!

DNRC September Supervisor Of The Month

In addition to topping the contractors chart, Rilmac Scaffolding supervisor Paddy Woodlock won the DNRC September Supervisor Of The Month.  Working on the prestigious and vital DNRC Paddy was picked out by Interserve for this award.

James Haywood of Interserve said

“Paddy was chosen by the site team at DNRC as he consistently supervises his operatives to maintain an excellent standard of safety working on many interfaces across the project.” James then urged Paddy and the Rilmac team to better things by adding, “The challenge now is to maintain the standard.”

Des Booth, director at Rilmac Scaffolding, said

“I’m very proud to be part of the Rilmac team when we receive good news like this. I would also like to thank Interserve for giving Rilmac Scaffolding the opportunity to work alongside, and support them and their colleagues, on this fantastic project.

From a Rilmac point of view we wouldn’t be able to perform without Paddy and Scott Love working closely together, therefore we will also award Scott to the same value ourselves. We have set the bar to a high standard and we will do our upmost to encourage them to keep it up.”
