PKF Cooper Parry Promotes More Inspirational Members Of Its Team

Another inspirational group of team members from Midlands-based PKF Cooper Parry have been rewarded with promotions in recognition of their personal and professional development and their contribution to the firm’s continued growth.

19 promotions have been made across all areas of the firm, which was recognised in the 2016 Sunday Times list of the Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work for and is now the fastest growing accountancy firm in the UK.

In the East Midlands, which employs a 250 strong team, Jonathan Elsigood and Sally Spencer have been made Partners.

Jonathan has been with the Wealth team for eight years and has played a huge part in developing its market-leading Wealth proposition. He also chairs its Wealth Investment Committee.

In his new role as partner, Jonathan will focus on managing the firm’s biggest client relationships and providing technical support and mentoring to its growing team.

Sally, who assumes the new role of Head of Operations, will manage the day-to-day issues that arise across such a fast-paced business.

A number of senior promotions have been made across the Audit team, with Catherine Kelly appointed a Director and Krishna Patel, Holly Parsons and Sarah Cann promoted to Senior Associates.

Also in the Audit team, Sarah Gower, Jayne Horsley, Lewis Aldridge have moved up to Manager Level 2 and Ioanna-Maria, Steph Hind and Laura Kiley have been promoted to Manager Level 1.

In the Tax team, Louise Allen has been promoted to Manager 2 and Tom Bollard and Stacey Cannon are now Manager Level 1.

James McBain Allan has been promoted to Manager in Corporate Finance, Chetan Ravalia is now an Assistant Manager in the Wealth team and Nick Ariss has been made Manager in the IT Solutions team.

In the West Midlands office, which now employs a team of 160 people, Sharon Kaur has been promoted to Manager 2 in the Audit team.

These latest promotions come after PKF Cooper Parry enjoyed its most successful year on record and just months after 20 other team members across the East and West Midlands were also rewarded with promotions.

In January 2016 the firm merged with established Birmingham accountants Clement Keys to create a £30m turnover group with a 420 strong workforce spanning the East and West Midlands.

The firm recently scooped the Most Innovative Practice of the Year - Mid-tier firm award at The British Accountancy Awards 2016.
