TIS Provides Perfect Solution For High Profile London Development

Mansfield-based TIS, one of the UK’s leading fire, security and communications specialists, is providing cutting edge technology solutions to a high profile residential development in North West London.

TIS, who employs around 140 people at its Mansfield headquarters, have been appointed by main contractors Imtech Engineering Services Central Ltd to develop and install an integrated solution for The Northern Quarter (TNQ), an exciting new mixed use development situated on Capitol Way in Colindale, London.

The unified solution comprises of a highly sophisticated fire detection, access control, CCTV and disabled refuge system, along with supporting analytics, number plate and facial recognition applications.

The prestigious new Northern Quarter (TNQ) Development comprises of 460 apartments spread across five buildings, including a range of affordable housing and a series of penthouses. It also features seven retail units, a gym, a crèche and a hotel style concierge service.

Phase one of the project, which included blocks A and B has already been completed and are already occupied, with the other three blocks set to be completed by February 2017.

The development, which is strategically located just six miles from London's West End is already attracting a high level of interest, with new schools, enhanced bus services, new quality retail brands, restaurants and cafes emerging in the area.
