House Hunters Seek New Horizons In Peterborough

Building work has started on a new development on the outskirts of Peterborough – and the new homes are proving popular with more than a dozen already reserved.

Persimmon Homes East Midlands launched its New Horizons scheme off Broadway in Yaxley at the beginning of last month (October).

The area is now a busy building site as Persimmon constructs the 78 houses.

Houses are currently being sold off-plan – and already 13 properties have been snapped up.

Louise Johnson, field sales manager at Persimmon Homes East Midlands, said:

“We’re delighted that this development is up and running, delivering a range of two, three and four bedroom homes.

“New Horizons is in a fabulous location with great local facilities and good schools, making it a perfect option for young professionals, families, downsizers or first time buyers.

“People have not wasted any time in securing their preferred plots on this site. The property market is buoyant in this area and we’re confident that this momentum will continue into the new year and beyond.

“The marketing suite is open five days a week and our sales adviser would be delighted to talk about the eight different house types we currently have available.”

By buying off-plan, customers at New Horizons are able to personalise aspects of their new homes, including kitchen appliances, tiles and flooring.

It also means that buyers have the maximum amount of time to prepare themselves, taking some of the stress out of moving home.
