Nottingham Firm Continues Ambitious Growth Plan With New Appointment

Leading property consultancy Bruton Knowles has further developed its ambitious plans for growth in Nottingham, with the appointment of a property assistant.
22-year-old Will Jackson joins the team at Bruton Knowles’ Nottingham office this month (Oct) following a successful month-long internship at the firm in July.
The new role will see Will identifying and negotiating acquisitions of office space, providing land cost estimates and drafting compensation claims for properties. In addition, he will be supporting the senior team to further develop and enhance the firm’s service offering.
With clients including NET Trams, National Grid, HS2 and Western Power Distribution, Will is looking forward to gaining valuable experience in a variety of property sectors.
He said:

“Having already completed an internship at the firm in July, I was encouraged by the team’s dedication to helping me progress and I was able to learn on the job by being offered an array of work and opportunities.
“Since starting at Bruton Knowles I have had the chance to get really stuck in, having already estimated land cost for NET Trams. As a born and bred Nottingham local, this was an exciting experience for me as the project is such an important focus for the region.
“In my new role, I am looking forward to progressing my career. Acquisition and development have always appealed to me as it would be exciting to see a build project from start to finish. Ideally, I would like to learn everything that I need to know to work in property so that I can eventually find a specialism which I excel in.”
The recent appointment of Will follows a successful year for Bruton Knowles with administrator Karen Palmer also joining its Nottingham office in June, taking the team total from 12 to 14.

With local and national clients including Mentor Training, Greene King and The Co-Operative Stores, the team has also boosted its client base by more than 15% and increased turnover by 14% in the last year.
