Business Hots Up For Holbrook Based BLE

Sheffield-based BLE Smoke & Fire Curtains is the latest hot topic, as the company welcomed two new members to its growing team as part of the latest stage in its targeted expansion plan.

Chris Lund, 37, has joined the firm as its new export sales manager alongside James Hayes, 36, who is the new European sales account manager, in a bid to expand into more emerging markets in both Europe and the rest of the world.

Chris joins the team with a background of over eight years in export sales. Originally from Sheffield, Chris was based in Dubai for over four years in his previous role in export sales, but decided to return to the UK earlier this year to be closer to his wife and family.

Chris said:

“Whilst I was based in Dubai my wife stayed at home in Sheffield, so after I returned I was delighted to have the opportunity to continue to work in my field for a company that’s based in my hometown.

“The people have been very welcoming and my new role will have me focused on expanding the company’s international distributor network and developing into more areas."

Also joining the team is James, who brings an impressive work portfolio to the team. After graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a Mechanical Engineering Degree, James lived in Italy as a technical sales manager for the Italian company Danieli, before moving back to Sheffield and taking his latest position at BLE Smoke & Fire.

As the firms European sales account manager, James’ main responsibilities include utilising his experience to oversee and secure contracts within Europe, helping to further the company’s development.

Both appointments are a part of the company’s goal to expand on an international level, whilst building on its current international distributor network, focusing on both Europe and the rest of the world.

The focus on business branding and expansion also coincides with a website update and product redesigns, which all contribute towards better customer service.
