Flint Bishop partners with Derby College to bring together FB Academy

Multi-award winning law firm, Flint Bishop Solicitors has partnered with Derby College to develop the firm’s first training academy under the name of ‘FB Academy’. This academy is aimed at up-skilling its 200-strong workforce over the course of the next few months with a range of training programmes from Roundhouse Thinking, the colleges commercial training acquisition.

During the last eighteen months, Flint Bishop has heavily invested in both staff, new IT systems, equipment and have now turned to training for their staff on business critical software.

Within a few days of launching, the firm saw almost two thirds of its workforce sign up to receive training, with the majority looking for additional support on the use of Microsoft Excel.

The first round of training was offered in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Skype, for all levels and have so far fully booked within a couple of hours.

In October the firm is also expected to host another FB Academy date, this time focused on Cyber Security, with all members of staff attending within a couple of sessions.
