Two Senior Promotions Announced At Derby Solicitors

Derby's Nelsons Solicitors has promoted two employees to associates in its personal injury and dispute resolution teams.

Dianne Collins and Louise Sackey have worked at Nelsons for four and three years respectively and are delighted that their efforts and dedication have been recognised by the firm.

Dianne, who is now an associate working in the personal injury department, said:

“I’m very pleased to have been promoted to an associate at Nelsons – it is a huge personal achievement.

“I joined Nelsons in 2012, having previously studied at Birmingham University and Chester College of Law and then working in Birmingham and Burton.

“Nelsons has established an excellent reputation across the region for advising on personal injury cases and has adapted to the changes that this sector has seen over recent years.  We provide a high level of service for our clients and as my career moves forward, I am looking forward to continuing to deliver the service that they have come to expect.”

Louise joined Nelsons as part of the dispute resolution team in 2013 when Bakewells merged with Nelsons.She said:

“I’m incredibly pleased that Nelsons has recognised my efforts and shown commitment to my career here. I started my career as a secretary at Bakewells while studying for my LPC part time having completed my degree at the University of Derby.

“The team at Nelsons’ Derby office has grown quite substantially over the past few years and it’s fantastic to be part of such a forward thinking, growing and well-established firm.

“I really enjoy my role, the majority of which is advising in cases of professional negligence, insolvency and property litigation, but I am also developing a specialism in false imprisonment and wrongful arrest claims.”
