Local Entrepreneurs Search For Best Of British

Nottingham-based business duo is to launch an online department store for products made solely by independent British suppliers.

Adam Dudley (31, Bilborough) and Nathan Chilcott (31, Brinsley) aim to bring the best of British-made products to everyone, in an independently owned, nationally available, department store with a difference.

With every product on sale not listed through a big national retailer these ambitious business partners hope to support local economic growth from the bottom up and believe their new venture will be the next big thing in Britain’s ‘shop local’ revolution.

Both working fathers with young families of their own, the pair decided to apply their impressive corporate experience to their passion for locally sourced products, following years promoting big brands across a number of large companies.

Set for a launch in 2017, Beaumont Square will sell products from a range of suppliers covering lifestyle product lines including apparel, cosmetics, confectionery, furniture, visual art and soft furnishings.

Nathan said:

‘When you buy local, you buy something which has been produced with care, with a focus on quality - different from the everyday mundane. We want to make that available for everyone. There are amazing local businesses all over the region, producing amazing products and we want to work with them to positively drive the British economy in these uncertain times’

Adam comments:

‘I’m passionate about creating wealth in Nottingham and throughout the region. With internationally leading universities and a flourishing business community, it’s only right that we start our search for suppliers in the home of entrepreneurs.’

The Beaumont Square team have already been hard at work searching out the best of locally sourced products. They call on members of the public to connect them with local independent businesses to be one of the first to feature on beaumontsquare.co.uk.
