Pall-Ex Members Recognised in 20th Anniversary Initiative

European palletised freight specialist Pall-Ex has announced the launch of its new member recognition programme and web platform at its recent national members conference.

Kevin Buchanan, managing director of Pall-Ex at it's recent national members conference.

The annual conference, at the Belfry Hotel in Nottingham, saw Pall-Ex announce these new initiatives as part of its 20th anniversary plans to find new ways to ‘Make a Difference’ to its members and partners.

The theme of the event, going ‘from good to great’, reinforced the network’s efforts to raise standards across the sector, in a bid to avoid price undercutting by industry competitors.

The new member recognition programme, called ‘Pall-Ex Optimum’, will recognise the network’s top three performing members each quarter, with prizes including financial incentives and a chance to win an annual award at the Pall-Ex awards dinner and dance, which takes place at the Celtic Manor in Wales on 26th November.

The member awards will be judged on a number of accreditation criteria including positive volume growth, robust audit compliance and outstanding KPI performance.

Kevin Buchanan, managing director of Pall-Ex, said:

“In our 20th year of operation, we felt it was important to recognise the continued hard work of our members that has made the success of the Pall-Ex network possible.”

Haulier members will also be able to create their own websites utilising Pall-Ex’s new web platform, which goes live this October. This new platform will provide marketing support to all of the network’s partners, offering a branded sales tool that aims to generate more leads and business opportunities for individual members.

Kevin adds:

“We felt it was important that customers have an easy-to-navigate online customer journey when it came to browsing our network member websites. This new digital platform will allow hauliers to create their own impressive online presence that can be easily customised to meet their own business’ needs, yet ensures a consistent layout and that a professional Pall-Ex brand is maintained throughout.”

The ‘20 Ways to Make a Difference’ campaign will run over the course of 2016, with new initiatives being introduced for members and customers, as well as a number of charity events.
