Business Expansion Hauls in Top of the Range Truck!

As a result of recent business wins and growth within the company, Alfreton based Richford Motors has invested £180k in two new top of the range recovery vehicles.

Richford Motors works with some of the big names in vehicle recovery, and has invested in the purchase of two new D Range Renault Trucks from Cotes Park based RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV).

Richford Motors are a top repair and recovery specialist with six sites across the East Midlands and was established in 1990, and now employs a team of 150. The company’s latest investment brings their fleet up to 102 vehicles, including 25 Renault trucks previously purchased from RHCV.

With plans to add four more vehicles to the fleet later in the year and also open two further depots in Derbyshire and Lincolnshire creating over 25 jobs, Richford Motors is experiencing a period of sustained growth across its business.

The company’s Managing Director Phil Richford, commented on the latest additions to the fleet:

“This latest investment adds the latest in vehicle technology to our fleet which will allow us to make significant fuel and efficiency savings, which can be as much as 15 per cent, as we continue to increase our national footprint and grow our regional presence.”

RHCV is an authorised distributor for Renault Trucks and provides new and used sales, service and parts for the full Renault Trucks range as well as all-makes parts and servicing for commercial vehicles. The business also provides a range of rental/lease options through sister company RH Rentals. RHCV’s purpose built facilities in Alfreton delivers a full range of sales and aftermarket services including a dedicated paint shop and a designated ATF (authorised testing facility) bay.
