Recruitment Hat-trick Spells Sales Success for Foster Industrial

The UK’s premium welding supplier Foster Industrial has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of a new sales manager – the third new appointment this year.

Tom Stewart, originally from Nottingham, picked up a wealth of experience at his previous role at IWS Nottingham, a similar industrial supplier where he worked with international brands such as BOSCH, 3M and Sia Abrasives.

As internal sales manager at Foster Industrial, Tom will be responsible for fulfulling customer’s orders, targeting prospective accounts and supporting external sales across the East Midlands.

He says: “This was an opportunity I couldn’t miss to join a forward-thinking firm with ambitious growth plans. I feel privileged to be in this position and I’m excited to work with Foster Industrial and be a part of driving the business forward.”

Tom’s appointment comes as the manufacturing sector continues to grow and Foster Industrial’s customer base expands to include the region’s top manufacturers, in sectors ranging from transport to agriculture.

The young salesman, who now lives in Shepshed, Leicester, says that he is enjoying his job so far. Tom added: “There is a lot to learn but I am already getting my teeth in to the role.”
