Investors In People Accreditation 'Cherry On The Cake' For Leading Recruitment Consultancy

Nottingham based Cherry Professional has been awarded the notorious Investors in People accreditation, becoming only the second recruitment agency in the East Midlands to hold this status.

Cherry Professional, with offices in both Nottingham and Derby, wanted an external body to recognise its achievements, in terms of investing in its employees.

The application was sent last November, and the Investors in People practitioner then came to visit the team on three occasions. On the third visit, they interviewed 80 per cent of the Cherry Professional workforce.

Cherry Professional met 37 out of 37 different criteria, focusing on 1 core area, set around planning, doing and reviewing. These included developing strategies to improve performance, taking action and evaluating the improvement.

Managing Director, Danielle Asano, said:

“We are over the moon to be awarded Investors in People status. Jonathan Plant from Investors in People said that we had a really good business here, which was fantastic affirmation of all of our hard work.

“The accreditation means that we have both the confidence and backing to know that we are doing a great job. Investors in People is highly regarded, so it instantly raises our game.”

Investors in People is a prestigious management framework accreditation for high performance through people, and is recognised across the world as a mark of excellence.

The Investors in People report stated:

“Cherry Professional, according to feedback, is a great place to work that values its people. Cherry has set itself apart as a business that represents both its clients and its candidates whole heartedly, bringing clarity, honesty and integrity into every decision it makes.

“All employees were extremely cooperative and welcoming, the staff interviewed were vibrant and candid about their experiences and opinions.

They fully understood the vision, intent and beliefs that under pinned the way Cherry conducts its business. The Action Visit Plan highlighted areas the business wanted the IIP Specialist to concentrate on; Management Effectiveness and Learning & Development.”

Danielle added:

“Our people really do mean something to us here at Cherry Professional, and this announcement gives out an all-round positive message to our customers and candidates.”
