Actons, the leading independent law firm in Nottingham, has announced the promotion of two key lawyers, hot on the heels of a string of recent appointments.  The promotions took effect from 1 April 2015.

Wills, trusts and probate lawyer Christina Yardley has been promoted from associate to director, and personal injury specialist Justine Tyas was made an associate.

Christina started at Actons as a trainee solicitor in 2005, rising through the ranks and was promoted to associate in 2012.

Justine is a legal executive in the personal injury team, joined Actons in 2003 and has over 15 years’ experience advising on serious personal injury claims.

Chairman Nicky Calthrop-Owen says:

“We are absolutely delighted with both of these appointments. They’re fully deserved and reflect our commitment to retaining and nurturing the very best lawyers.  Christina and Justine have made significant contributions to the firm in a variety of different ways, and we look forward to their future with us."

"Overall, it’s fair to say we’ve had a great and really busy year.  We’ve seen growth across a number of areas including private client, employment and property to name a few.  We are really looking forward to the next twelve months.”
