Celebrating Women in Construction

With just 11% of construction jobs filled by women in the UK, New College Nottingham is on a mission to start increasing that figure through a special Women in Construction event.

This free event will take place at the College’s Basford Hall campus on Monday 9th March, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, and all women interested in the construction industry are encouraged to attend.

There will be an opportunity to find out more about the variety of career options available in the sector as well as the chance to have a go at some of the trades yourself. Current and future female construction students will be on hand to offer advice, as well as women who have already been successful in their construction careers.

With ncn’s brand new Basford Hall campus set to open its doors this September, this is also a fantastic opportunity to find out more.
