Choose the colour of your designer radiators by the feeling you want it to give you

Ashby de la Zouch manufacturer, Agadon Designer Radiators has launched a new range of RAL colour radiators. The concept behind it is to provide customers with a wide range of choice in style, size, finish and now bespoke colours!

Here's the thinking which inspired the new colours range and the psychology behind how the different colours make us feel.

Yellow

Choose a designer radiator in yellow if you want to create enthusiasm for life and can awaken greater confidence and optimism. Yellow helps with decision-making as it relates to clarity of thought and ideas, although it can often be impulsive. Yellow helps us focus, study and recall information, useful during exam time.

Red

A red designer radiator is energising, it exudes a strong and powerful masculine energy, which excites the emotions. On the other hand pink is feminine and romantic, affectionate and intimate, thoughtful and caring. It tones down the physical passion of red replacing it with a gentle loving energy.

Orange

The colour orange literally ‘radiates warmth and happiness,’ combining the physical energy and stimulation of red with the cheerfulness of yellow. So choose an orange designer radiator and you may not even need to have it on!

Green

Green is an emotionally positive colour representing balance and harmony. It is the sanctuary away from the stresses of modern living, restoring us back to a sense of well being. So if you have a room you want to relax in, a green designer radiator maybe the answer.

Blue

Blue is a colour that seeks peace and tranquility above everything else, promoting both physical and mental relaxation. we certainly feel a sense of calm if we lie on our backs and look into a bright blue cloudless sky. It slows the metabolism. The paler the blue for your designer radiator the more freedom we feel.

Indigo

The colour indigo promotes deep concentration during times of introspection and meditation, helping you achieve deeper levels of consciousness. Indigo stimulates right brain or creative activity and helps with spatial skills. So if you have a work space, maybe an indigo designer radiator will help you work more effectively.

Purple and Violet

Purple and violet designer radiators. The difference between violet and purple is that violet appears in the visible light spectrum, or rainbow, whereas purple is simply a mix of red and blue. Grey

The colour grey is an unemotional, solid and stable, creating a sense of calm and composure, relief from a chaotic world. A grey designer radiator is subdued, quiet and reserved. It does not stimulate, energise, rejuvenate or excite. Probably better used in a more corporate setting.
