Increased Sales for Notts Estate Agents

Increased Sales for Notts Estate Agents

Spring is in the air and the property market is on the up according to the Land and New Homes team at Nottingham-based estate agents FHP Living.

Since the start of 2014, the team has noticed a marked increase in both enquiries and sales across their portfolio of land and new properties.

Ann Taylor, associate director at FHP Living, said: “The effect that the recession had on the property market has been hugely well-documented, but we are now starting to come out of the other side as people start to feel comfortably investing their money once again.

“The land side of the business has been busier over the past couple of months than it has been in years and we are being inundated with enquiries, which is fantastic news. Even sites in traditionally less popular areas have received a great deal of interest, and we are seeing more and more coming to market.”

Interest in new homes in the county has also peaked, with seven properties sold since January. FHP Living will also be bringing to market a number of new developments throughout the year.

Jules Hunt, consultant at FHP Living, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have sold seven new builds since January, it’s indicative of the change in confidence that we are noticing across the board.

“During 2014 we will have some more exciting new homes coming to market, including developments in the sought-after villages of East Bridgford and Caythorpe as well as 15 properties at Alexandra Park in Mapperley.

“These are all high quality developments and we are very excited about marketing them. We are certain that the high numbers of enquiries will continue and we will be able to match them to appropriate buyers quickly.”
