Workers Use New Cleaners in Tubs to Tackle the Bugs; They Are Easier and Greener Too!

LEADING commercial cleaning company OfficeCare has introduced a new range of cleaning agents to help both its workers and customers.

It is now using small, handy-sized tubs of concentrated powders which are multi-purpose cleaners and de-greasers that are mixed on site with water and dispensed through trigger spray plastic bottles.

The powders are diluted to different strengths depending on the surface type and the soilage to be cleaned. The product can also be used on all surface types from silk to mirrors, from wool to concrete.

As the product is multi-purpose it means that workers do not have to carry around with them a selection of different cleaning products, making for more efficient cleaning time. There is also a lot less plastic used as the tubs can be re-filled centrally at OfficeCare's headquarters on Victoria Way, Pride Park, Derby, and re-used.

In addition to the general purpose powder, which come in a range of fragrances, there is a sanitizer powder for use in washrooms and toilets, kitchens and other places vulnerable to germs.

The sanitiser kills bacteria that are responsible for MRSA, C-difficile, E-coli and salmonella that can contribute to the annual cost of sickness absence, which has climbed to almost £29 billion for UK organisations, according to new figures.

OfficeCare believes that these products are better and make for easier cleaning than traditional ones and are more environmentally-friendly and sustainable.

“With these new products, we are increasing our offer to clients, as they can now choose the fragrance, which is very important, while also killing superbugs such as MRSA and E-Coli as a standard service offering to all clients with no supplementary charge,”

said OfficeCare's director Martin Booth.

“This advanced cleaning system will in the new year be made available for our clients' employees to use in there own home, which is yet another first that OfficeCare are delivering.

“We believe this is a revolution in cleaning which we are happy to provide to our customers in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.”

OfficeCare believes it is the only cleaning company locally to use these products.

It has previously been innovative in how it deals with customers and its workers. Last year it introduced a high-tech tracking system to protect its workforce and keep customers satisfied on performance by real time monitoring across all client sites.
