Nick Holroyd, a lawyer with 28 years of experience in financial crime and professional disciplinary cases, has joined Richard Nelson LLP as a consultant solicitor as the law firm strengthens its presence across the UK.

Holroyd will continue the high level work that he has become known for over the past three decades. He is considered a leader in his field for fraud cases, with high rankings in the Chambers Directories and Legal 500.

He has worked on a number of high-value fraud cases, including the Kieren Fallon race-fixing trial.

Holroyd began his career in the ‘80s, gaining experience in complex financial crime and professional disciplinary cases. He was previously a partner in law firm Slater and Gordon (formerly Russell Jones and Walker).

In his three decades of experience, Nick has been a part of a wide variety of high profile public inquiries and inquests. He has worked on cases including the Harold Shipman Inquiry, the North Wales Child Abuse Inquiry, and the Redfern Inquiry. He also worked on the inquests arising out of the Hillsborough football stadium disaster.
