This will bring together private client and commercial legal services under one roof in line with the firm’s ongoing growth plans.

As from Tuesday August 9th, Commercial, Conveyancing, Employment, Litigation and Personal Injury transferred from Lawson-West’s Uppingham Road office to the premises at 4 Dominus Way on Meridian Business Park.

At the same time Family Director James Haworth has also moved to the new offices, giving the Family team a presence in Leicester it has not had previously.

The new head office also houses the firm’s accounts and administration teams.

Lawson -West’s commercial director David Heys said the move was very exciting for staff and clients and marked the obvious next step in the firm’s evolution.

He said: “As a firm we’re enjoying significant growth in both our commercial and private client departments. And this move provides us with the perfect setting as we continue to expand and add to our teams. These premises will enable us to improve further the way we deliver services to clients.

“The office is just off junction 21 of the M1, it is easily accessible for staff, clients and visitors and has the important additional advantage of ample car parking right next to the building.  The new building also benefits from, Wi-Fi, high-grade IT and good conference and meeting facilities.

“We will be working in a modern open plan space rather than being separated from each other in different offices. This arrangement is much more conducive to sharing ideas and information and looking after clients while providing staff with a much more pleasant working environment.”

Lawson-West, which celebrates its 40th anniversary next summer, currently employs more than 50 staff and directors across its offices in Leicester, Wigston and Market Harborough and is continuing to recruit more people in both legal and administrative roles.

Having outgrown its Coventry Road premises in Market Harborough, Lawson-West last year relocated its Harborough office to a much bigger space at Millers House in Roman Way. And also refurbished it’s Wigston office.

Additionally Lawson-West recently appointed well known local business consultant Paul Bonnett as a non-executive director to strengthen its leadership team as the firm prepared for further expansion.
